Job Title: Online and Print Advertising Representative

The Online and Print Advertising Representative is responsible for the sales of online and print publications and directories.  They will manage and successfully execute the sales process including lead generation, prospect qualification, face-to-face meetings, webinars, online demos, contract negotiations and closing.  He/she will serve as lead sales contact for the project from sales generation to sales close and then ad layout and approval. The Online and Print Advertising Representative’s goal is also to provide support to the Publisher and act as the secondary decision maker on many sales activities. 

Primary Responsibilities
· Prospecting/Lead Generation
· Cold calling and setting appointments for live demos
· Client qualification
· Client presentations
· Face to face meetings
· Conducting live demos and sales webinars
· Proposal creation
· Contract creation and negotiation
· Closing clients
· Client referrals
· Networking activities in San Luis Obispo County
· Setting goals and priorities
· Sales tool development & implementation
· Daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting
· Assist with strategy, direction and planning
· Maintain client relationships
· Continuous communication with the Marketing Department to ensure consistent message
· Manage sales cycle through Salesforce with clear and up to date documentation
· Work with customer on ad design/ information and layout getting customers final approval.

· Price negotiations – after Publisher and Ad Director
· Association involvement - after Publisher and Ad Director
· Identify customer issues and who assigned to appropriate individuals – track common issues
