SLDC is now registered as a team for the SLO Marathon

The San Luis Distance Club (SLDC) is now registered as a team for the SLO Marathon/Half/5K. If you haven't registered yet for any of the three distances, select the "San Luis Distance Club" as your team during your on-line registration process when you do sign up. If you have already registered, let us know by replying to this message and we can request that your team affiliation be shown as SLDC. There were over 40 members running last year, including 30 in the half and full marathons, so that could mean up to $600 for SLDC if everyone signs up. Family members who are participating are eligible as well.

The SAN LUIS OBISPO MARATHON + HALF 2013 presented by Left Lane Sports invites you to build a team of 20 people or more to receive a discount on a premiere recreational event on the Central Coast.  Include co-workers, family and friends and increase the fun for everyone.

When you register a team of 20 or more for the marathon, half-marathon or 5K, you'll receive a rebate check for $20 per registered marathon and half-marathon runner.  You could earn $400 or more to be used any way you choose: a team party, a pet project, or distribute back to your team members.  Plus, you'll get branded matching team shirts for every team member to show your company/team pride.

Note: 5K runners can be used to achieve the minimum 20 member for a team, but rebate will be computed on marathon and half-marathon runners only.  Each runner registers him/herself on active.com.  Please email with any questions: cheer@slomarathon.com
